Joe Long
Controller
As controller of Fujirebio Diagnostics, Inc. Joe is responsible for directing the activities of the finance department, financial reporting, implementing financial controls, and driving development of financial systems. He also coordinates and manages the company’s annual budget and forecasting processes, coordinates business insurance activities, and manages the preparation of the financial input into the corporate state and federal returns.
Joe has more than 30 years experience in the financial area, including controllership with an emphasis on contract review and manufacturing, along with financial system implementation and development. Formerly the diagnostic division controller for Centocor, Inc., Joe was promoted to the position of controller when Fujirebio purchased the company from Centocor. Prior to his more than 15 years with Fujirebio Diagnostics, Joe held several accounting-related positions, including controller for Syntex Dental/Dentaleze and staff accountant for Extracorporeal, Inc., a Johnson & Johnson company.
Joe received an MBA specializing in accounting from Philadelphia University and a BS in accounting from St. Joseph’s University.
