Inventory Coordinator

Fujirebio Diagnostics has an immediate opening for an Inventory Coordinator. Qualified individual will be responsible for control, maintenance, and inputting information into computerized inventory system to track quarantine and finished goods in compliance with GMP’s and Fujirebio Diagnostics’ policies

Essential Job Functions:

Including but not limited to:

  • Maintains perpetual inventory system and cycle count programs.
  • Handles in-house or work-in-process transfers for quarantine and finished goods in 201 GVP building walk-in and off-site warehouse walk-in.
  • Responsible for maintaining scrap and inventory status in accordance with company procedures.
  • Responsible for reservation, preparation and shipment of rare reagent inventory to customers.
  • Coordinates work flow with all manufacturing departments to assure 100% of production plan is accomplished.
  • Generates all manufacturing work orders to assure all transactions are maintained in the Oracle system.
  • Prepares and performs weekly master lotting of RIA kits to meet 100% of customer orders.
  • Generates quarterly Panel, Reference and Gold Standard Plan by compiling and inputting production data into the Oracle computer system and various spreadsheet programs.
  • Responsible for assigning and inputting new part number requests into the Oracle system.
  • Responsible for shipment of materials to 3rd party suppliers
  • Monthly preparation of commodity inventories for Materials Manager.
  • Assist with purchasing activities in accordance with FDI's purchasing policies.
  • Responsible for placing non-strategic orders, communicating and resolving potential problems with orders.
  • Serves as backup to Material Handler for monitoring & maintaining temperatures of the cold storage and -70 freezers at the offsite warehouse; and backup to the Materials Mgr at the morning production meeting.
  • Maintains records in accordance with Fujirebio Diagnostics’ policies and applicable government regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned

medical products manufacturing environment including inventory control; BA/BS preferred; excellent PC skills; experience with Oracle e-Business Suite required; excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with a wide range of personalities and levels within the company; ability to work in a high pressured, deadline-oriented environment; excellent attendance required; CPIM certification preferred.
